Anointing with Oil

Many religious ceremonies include an anointing with oil. Anciently, fine oils indicated prosperity and were even used as a form of money. Thus, if you were to anoint someone with oil, you would do so in a confirmation or bestowal of blessings, abundance, and peace of mind.
