Yesterday I loaded up my kiddo trio and made the 25 minute drive to the nearest Costco. On our way back, there was a slow-down on the freeway (a rare occurance in our laid-back small town community), and my 8-year-old sighed from the back seat, “I hate traffic”.
I giggled, then realized that is the extent of traffic he’s accustomed to. I love living out in the open…where commute time doesn’t have to factor in stop-start road congestion, and every once in awhile you can be a drive-up party to this kind of road block on your very own street:
