This is a website that will be in my favorites for a long time.

Late in the evening of Sept. 3, I received an email from my daughter in law asking if I would send her daughter's christening gown over so her new baby Molly could wear it for her christening on the 16th. I quickly emailed back asking if I could find one specially for her and get it there before the 16th, if that would be OK. It was and I started searching the web. I couldn't find the site I purchased my first grandaughters dress from, but luckily, I found One Small Child and here I found the perfect gown for Molly. I emailed the link to my daughter in law and she immediately said YES YES YES that's the one: Erin with shamrocks. I called first thing the next morning and said I needed it no later than the 14th. Last night, (Fri), I got another email that said Molly had received the gown that day and that it was BEAUTIFUL. I won't see it until the baptism, but I am so pleased with the promptness of the delivery (this gown was not a stock item) and with the friendliness of the gal I ordered from. This is a website that will be in my favorites for a long time. I'll email a picture of Molly in her 'Erin' gown for the photo gallery. Thank you for this gift to my grandaughter. You made this already happy grandma, even happier.

I reside in Canada and even though you guys don't deliver to Canada (as yet:)) I was able to get my flower girl dresses delivered to a friend in the States. Jaws dropped as Emma slipped into her "Memory" christening gown. Everyone asked me if it was mine or my grandmother's. The Baptism of my twins needed to be delayed (long story!) by 6 more weeks. I was concerned that in 6 weeks, my daughters may require bigger sized Baptism gowns. One Small Child kindly extended my return deadline and offered to allow me to purchase the larger size gowns, too, and simply return the ones I don't need at the time of the Baptism. I love love loved my son's baptism outfit (Marcus), he looked so adorable for his Baptism. I had been searching every store for about 2 months for a cute, good quality baptism outfit and found nothing. All the outfits that I did find were the same in every store and were just not what I was looking for. I had already bought a Christening gown from Macy's for my baby's dedication, but I have a big baby & the neck was just a tad too small for her. I drove to all the different Macy's around my area & none have anything larger that 12 mos. The dedication was just a week away so I thought although she might be a little uncomfortable, there was not much that I can do. Until I found One Small Child. They were one of a handful that offer sizes bigger than 12 mos. Their christening gowns looked exquisite on the web site. I was able to zoom in to see every detail of all the dresses. The site was a breeze to navigate, most of all the prices were really reasonable. I found a dress that I absolutely fell in love with. I was pretty confident that the dress will look just as good in person because the description was very detailed plus there were tons for pictures of this dress that I can zoom in and take a closer look. I ordered the dress on the 3rd & it arrived on the 7th. I was worry that it might get to me on time so I kept the one I bought from Macy's as my back up. When the dress came I was so happy, but when I opened the box I was speechless. It was even more beautiful than it was on the site. I am so happy that I found One Small Child, I can't wait to show it off at the dedication. I bought two christening outfits for my boy & girl twin children. My daughter's was from One Small Child, my son's was from another online site. In all honesty I could not compare my son's and my daughter's outfits. So I am returning my son's outfit even though there is a 15% restocking fee and buying a second outfit from One Small Child for my son. Now I know why the other site has a 15% restocking fee. They sent that second dress without even being asked.

I ordered a Brylie dress with an embroidered slip about two weeks ago. It was to be delivered last Wednesday to my mother in law in South Bend, Indiana. She did not receive the package on Wednesday. I called One Small Child and we started a trace on the dress. UPS was saying that it was delivered but there was no dress at the house or with the one neighbor on the street.

One Small Child immediately sent a replacement dress with another embroidered slip. We ended up receiving the initial dress on Thursday, March 15 and the second shipment on Friday, March 16.

Thank you so much for sending the replacement and having the embroidery done so quickly. The dress was absolutely beautiful and your customer service is incredible. They sent that second dress without even being asked. I didn't think that there would be any possible way to have the second dress embroidered and shipped in the one hour that we had after we realized the UPS mix up.

Thank you for your concern about the production of our communion dresses. Many of our dresses, as well as christening gowns and outfits, are made in our facility here in Blackfoot, Idaho.

Our seamstresses earn above the established minimum wage and we consider all of them to be friends and part of our family.

The building we currently work in is well lighted and ventilated, heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. Next week, we will be moving to a new building that we have just finished building. It's even better than the one we are now in and we are very excited to get moved!!

I share your concern about how people are treated and have a deep commitment to provide good jobs in our community and to have a pleasant work environment.    After selecting the“ Candice”, I was then concerned with my limited timeframe and appropriate size for my daughter.      The choice and quality of gown was especially important to me as the baby was being named after my daughter, Kristin, who was killed 4 years ago by a drunk driver. The baby's mother and my Kristin had been best friends all their lives as they had grown up together. I wanted to give my friend an heirloom quality gown that she could use for all her future grandchildren, and little Kristin.
     Her son recently got back from Iraq and he and his wife are expecting in the spring, so the gown will start to get lots of wear, and starting it out in memory on my beloved Kristin makes it that much more special.

My first grandchild, a girl, is due in January. I have two sons so I was delighted that my youngest and his wife are having a little girl. I had intended to make a dedication dress but after I began I remembered why I stopped sewing years ago. I am a perfectionist and I get frustrated if things are not perfect and I wanted the perfect dress for my first granddaughter. I chose the Ashley Christening gown for my daughter's big day. My mother purchased it for us and had it sent to our house. The shipping was fast, so fast we were surprised to get it so quick! I had to contact Customer Support regarding the dress prior to ordering because of size issues but with the CS recommendations I went with the newborn size and it fits perfectly (just hope she doesn't gain too much weight for her big day). I would have liked to order a 3-6 month size but unfortunately that size was not available. Other than the one size issue we had a wonderful experience with the One Small Child web site and I will definitely recommend this site to everyone looking for beautiful children's clothes for special occasions. Thanks so much for a beautiful christening gown and a great experience! My daughter is going to be the most beautiful little girl there!!! :-)
