Shipping Questions:
Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A: Most orders are delivered in 2-10 business days, depending on
the time of day we receive your order, availability, geography, and shipping service selected. We ship all
orders of in-stock items received by 11:00 a.m. Mountain Time on the
same business day. (Our shipping providers and talented fulfillment
staff aren't available on weekends, although our dedicated customer
service representatives often answer email on the weekend.) Orders
received after 11:00 a.m. are shipped the next business day. If you
ordered a non-stock item, the shipping time frame will be listed on
the order page of that item.
If you are concerned about meeting a deadline or aren't sure about
whether your item is in-stock or not, you are welcome to
email us to verify how long it will be before your order ships.
We make every effort to ship all non-stock orders within five
business days of placement. If for any reason there is a delay
beyond our control, we will notify you via email. Once your order
leaves our fulfillment facility, the time it takes to reach you is
dependent on the shipping service you selected. You can view our
delivery schedule to calculate the shipping time in transit.
Please keep in mind that the time in transit is listed in
business days.
Q: Can my heirloom gown or flower girl dress ship sooner than
five business days?
A: Depending on how busy our sewing department is, we can rush a
dress through in two business days for an additional $20 fee. Please
email for information specific to your order.
Q: Is my item in stock?
A: Unless there is a notice posted on the order page requesting that
you allow extra time before shipment, your item is in stock and will
ship according to our normal
shipping policy. You will be notified immediately if there are
any other problems with availability.
Return Policy Questions:
Q: What is your return policy? Is it really that flexible?

Q: What if I can't return an item within the allowed 15 days?
A: The 15 day return period starts when you receive your shipment.
If for some reason you aren't able to return in the allowed time
frame, you can email us in advance to make arrangements for an
extended return period. We understand that there are occasionally
extenuating circumstances, and are happy to make any arrangements
you may need, but please be aware that we do need to receive prompt
returns in order to continue offering the selection and flexibility
we do.Q: Are there any re-stocking fees on returned items?
A: No. Never. Please be aware, however, that if you selected our
free
shipping offer and your return causes the original order total
to fall below $100, we do deduct $7.75 from your refund to cover the
original shipping costs.
Q: Do I pay for the items up front, or do you charge me after I
return the unused items?
A: At checkout, you pay for all items before they are shipped, and
we cheerfully refund your card within one week upon receipt of your
return.
Q: Your return policy states that items must be returned within
15 days--is that from the time I order?
A: No. the 15 day return period begins when you receive your order.
Q: Does my return have to be in your facility within the 15 days?
A: No. It just needs to be in the shipping system (postmarked). We
do not expect you to spend exorbitant amounts of money on express shipping!
Just be sure to select a shipping method that offers delivery
confirmation.
Q: Are non-stock items returnable?
A: Yes. Non-stock items are constructed for you when we receive your
order, but we do accept returns on them--someone else will surely
need them.
Sizing Questions:
Q: Where can I find a size chart?
A: Size chart links for each of our outfits can be found in the
upper right-hand corner of each ordering page, just above the
embroidery options and/or color and size selection drop-down lists.
The link is a large yellow button.
The size charts are set up on pop-up windows, so if you aren't able
to view the chart when you click on the link, you may need to enable
pop-ups for our site. This can be done by pressing the CTRL key
while clicking on the link, or for a more permanent fix, select
'tools' on your browser menu, then 'pop-up blocker', click on the
'pop-up blocker settings' button, enter our web address:
www.onesmallchild.com, then click on the 'add' button.
Q: My baby normally wears size 9 months in regular
clothing, but your size chart says to order 3 months. Why the big
difference? Do I trust your size chart?
A: We go to a lot of trouble to make sure you can trust our size
charts. You'll find a more detailed explanation
here.
Q: My baby's weight does not match the size that the measurements
indicate. Do I still order by measurement?
A: Yes. Measurement is the most accurate indicator of actual size.

Q: My baby has very chubby arms and legs. Will sleeves and leg
cuffs be large enough?
A: Yes, of the thousands of babies we've dressed over the years, we
have yet to hear that our sleeves and legs are not roomy enough.
International Ordering Questions:
Q: Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
A: Yes. Please fit your address in as best you can on our online
order form. Our free shipping offer does apply (via USPS Priority
Mail) to
military addresses.
Q: Do you ship internationally?

Q: Can you describe your fabrics for me?
A: You can find detailed descriptions of each of the fabrics used in
our special occasion clothing
here.
Q: Can I send a money order instead of using a credit card? How
about a personal check?
A: Yes, we accept money orders. Please print our
order form and include it with your payment. Mail to: One Small
Child, P.O. Box 811, Blackfoot, ID 83221. Your order will
begin processing as soon as payment is received. We do not accept
personal checks.
Q: Do you offer wholesale pricing for stores? Can I get your
outfits anywhere else?
A: Thank you for your interest, but we are a retail site only. We
design and manufacture most of our products and are the exclusive
retail distributors of the Allie Wade label at this time.
