Returns:

How to return an item:

• Please complete and include the return form with your return. Be sure to note your name, order ID number, and reason for the return.

• There is no need to incur express shipping charges to return your item--as long as it is in the shipping system within the 15 days. We do recommend you select a service that offers delivery confirmation.

• When we receive your returned item we will issue a credit to your card within 3 business days. Please allow an additional 4-5 business days after the refund is processed for the transaction to post at your bank.

Return Policy:

• Your purchase at One Small Child comes with a total satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are not delighted with your christening gown, christening outfit, flower girl dress, Communion dress or accessory purchase, simply return (postmark) it within 15 days from the day that you receive it, and we'll promptly refund the merchandise amount.
  
  
• Please see our exchange policy for instructions on making an exchange.
  
  
• It is perfectly acceptable to order more than one size or item to choose between. However, the return shipping cost will be your responsibility.
  
  
• Unless the item you are returning is a mistake on our part, or is defective, we cannot issue a return label or credit your return shipping cost. (Would you expect a retail store to pay your time and driving expense to return an item to them?)
  
  
• If a returned item causes the value of your original order to fall below $100.00, a base shipping fee of $7.75 will be deducted from your refund. (This includes returns of complete orders.)
  
  
• Our free shipping offer applies only once per customer. If you place separate orders each with free shipping and return one of them, the base shipping fee of $7.75 will be deducted from the credit for the order that is returned.
  
  
• If you requested the wrong size or item and need to send it back in exchange for another size or style, a shipping charge will apply. (If there was a mistake on our part, there will be no charge for the sending the replacement.)
   
• Please be sure to use our measurement charts to determine the correct size the first time you order. Do not try to determine the correct size by the child's age, weight, or the size they are currently wearing in other clothing brands. We have measured each style, allowing for wearing ease. If you order according to the size matching the measurements on the size chart, you will get a good fit and will not have the extra expense of returning an item.
  
  
• No authorization number is required for returns, so you don't need to call in advance.
  
  
• All returned items must be unused, with all hang tags and labels in their original position in order to receive a full refund.
  
  
• We cannot accept returns or exchanges of worn, washed, soiled, monogrammed or customized articles.
